Epoxy primer provides a tough, abrasion resistant anticorrosive barrier coat for all surfaces. It is an ideal performance primer for the discerning boat owner. Characteristics: - Prevention against osmosis. - Suited for keels and above water areas. - An ideal first coat for fibre-glass. Type: Epoxy / polyamide anticorrosive paint, high build. Recommended use: Primer for Seajet system for the use on above and below water areas of yachts and pleasure crafts. Ideal for metal keels and shows excellent adhesion to fibre-glass. Application Details: - Thinner: Seajet thinner E, - Application Data: Airless spray, brush, roller, - Min. temperature: 5 °C, - Max. humidity: 85% R.H. Boat type: Degrease and clean using THINNER E wiping to remove all contamination. - Bare fibreglass: Abrade using P80-120 abrasive paper followed by final cleaning. Apply two coats of SEAJET 117 (or 3-4 coats for osmosis prevention). - Bare aluminium: Apply one coat of SEAJET 017 and 2-4 coats of SEAJET 117. - Steel hulls and metal keels: Sand blast to SA 2½ or hand prepare bare areas. Apply 2 - 4 coats to achieve the required minimum film thickness of 225 microns. Coverage rate when rolling: 8,5 m2 / lt Pack size: 2,5 lt Colour: Silver grey
