GreenGuard is a designation for a 3mm thick green seat belt made of special India rubber. Highly elastic and partly made of recycled material, it is also used in the best-selling tire in Germany, the Schwalbe Marathon.WHY USE RECYCLED MATERIAL?Recycling rubber materials and the use of renewable raw materials saves moreamount of energy and reduces the use of resources in the production of tires.WHY DOES SCHWALBE NOT USE GREEN COMPOUND FOR ALL COATS?We are working to use more recycled and renewable raw materials in our blends in the future.
