Its an intelligent and economical concept for comfortable cycling. The air in the tire acts as a natural suspension. The Big Ben balloon tire was developed specifically to utilize this effect. Inflated to 2 bar it rolls easily and absorbs impacts, acting like a full suspension bike. Besides which tire suspension is far less harsh than long spring travel. Using simple technology, cycling can remain low-maintenance and light. Endurance: The high-quality Marathon compound for the long durability. GreenGuard: 3mm flexible, special India rubber. Partly from recycling. SnakeSkin: A light and flexible carcass makes the tire highly resistant to scrubbing. The Schwalbe Big Ben Plus Tire with 20 inch has the ECE-R75 mark and thus is certified for use on faster E-Bikes up to 50 km/h. This ECE regulation is valid all over Europe. Certificates of conformity from the tire manufacturer or indemnities are therefore no longer necessary.
