Compact all-tube combo amplifier for electric guitar from Archon series that offers lush distortion and singing clean channel tones in a 25 watt package (switchable to 13 watts via the back panel). This wattage makes it easier to push to optimum performance - tube amps sound best when pushed a little - and it gets there at a lower volume, which is a huge benefit not only at home, but also in the studio and on the stage. Recording with an amp at lower volumes will provide a cleaner signal and a truer tone, and on the stage, the soundman will thank you for not blowing out the other members of the band. The amplifier features Volume, Treble, Middle, and Bass controls for each channel. There is also a Master Volume control and global Depth and Presence for added control. The 6L6 power tubes are replaced here with 5881's, which offer extended high end while maintaining the amplifier's signature crunch. The amplifier is also equipped with six 12AX7 preamp tubes and a 12" Celestion G12-75T speaker (16 Ohm). Its rear panel offers an FX loop, fused power inlet, two parallel extension speaker jacks and ohm switch (4, 8, 16). Cabinet of the amplifier is made of birch plywood with stealth covering and grill cloth and silver piping. A 2-button footswitch (Lead/Clean, FX Loop On/Off) is included.
