Recognized Balladeer hallmarks are here, including the sculpted Applause-style headstock and center sound hole adorned with the classic Applause chevron-pattern rosette. Premium features include a laminated spruce top for natural and balanced tone; a middepth Round back Lyrachord body for greater volume and projection, excellent balance and supreme durability; and a fast, easy-playing neck profile. The Applause Balladeer® models include traditional Ovation appointments such as a spruce top, Scalloped-X bracing, and abalone inlaid rosette. A sleeker headstock design creates an aesthetic that many others aspire to. An Ovangkol finger board/bridge and mid depth bowl allow for effortless and comfortable playing. To tie everything together, Ovation also updated the electronics to the CE304T preamp.
