Michael Kelly Element 4Q
Code: PR-68737Product detailed description
Electric bass guitar from Element series that was designed with a level of simple elegance that is a nod to vintage, but also provides a number of thoughtful upgrades to modernize it for the demands of today's player. It has been enhanced with the Stealth Attack Bridge System that combines an upgraded die-cast moulded bridge with tight slots for each fully-adjustable saddle, and a hidden aluminium tone block that adds sustain and attack. Since it is aluminium, it does not add weight to the bass, but has a sonic impact similar to using a heavy bridge. The instrument's pickups were developed specifically for the MK Element bass line by Rockfield and they have an over-wound classic pickup sonic performance. They are blended with newly-developed Element Active Circuit that has been carefully tweaked to provide a modern sonic profile. On-board controls include a stacked tone pot with separate treble and bass controls and a blend knob to sweep from one pickup to the other or varying degrees of each. Also included is a bypass switch allowing user to go from active to a very vintage passive tone with a quick click. The bass guitar features an alder body with quilt maple top and a bolt-on rock maple neck with MK 2+2 straight string-pull headstock, adjustable double truss rod and comfort neck joint shaped for added access. Rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5"/241mm radius, 21 frets and grey dot inlays. Scale length is 863.6 mm, width of the bone nut fret is 41.4 mm. Other features include chrome hardware with MK die-cast tuners. Aged Cherryburst colour design.Additional parameters
