Micro guitar amp head. The Meteor from Joyo’s Bantamp series is a very compact and portable 20 W head. Small in size but gives you a modern distortion sound with a lot of dirt and plenty of bite. Based on a more modern British approach to heavy sounds, it excels in a variety of genres of music. The amp operates with a single 12AX7 tube in the preamp and uses a solid state power amp, a hybrid amp. The FX loop enables you to put your time based effects (Phasers, Flangers and Chorus, delay and reverb) behind the drive section if you want, using these modulation FX in the loop, keep the effects sounding sharp when using after the original signal is distorted. The amp also has a clean channel that can take pedals perfectly, the amp makes it flexible and a great little companion for many situations. The amp has a speaker out rated at 8 Ohm, but can also be operated at 16 Ohm with less power. If you want to practice quietly, use the built in headphone out with speaker /cab emulation. The icing on the cake is the Bluetooth connectivity. Easily connect with your Bluetooth enabled device and play music through the Bantamp. This is great to practice with youtube videos or apps that can help play along or to learn new songs.
