If you like to go fast and light when you’re hiking and travelling, the KINGSTON 16 is the day pack for you. This small day pack is designed for hiking and doubles as a carry-on bag for long-haul trips. The pack is also suitable for everyday town-to-trail use. The KINGSTON 16 is the smallest model in our KALARI/KINGSTON series. Like all the models in the series, it is made from recycled fabrics, has a sporty design and is nice and light. It is also incredibly versatile, very robust and extremely well ventilated. The flexible ACS TIGHT back system also ensures good freedom of movement. The pack sits very close to your body, so you always retain full control of the load. The central air channel at the back and the perforated, air permeable back padding, shoulder straps and waist belt help to keep you cool. If you’re not carrying a full pack and don’t need the waist belt, it can be detached. The KINGSTON 16 has room for the essentials and is fully equipped for use on the trail. Which means you only need one day pack for all your adventures, from world travel and weekend trips to everyday use. All of the packs in the KINGSTON series can be combined with the larger KALARI packs and carried together. Simply attach the hooks on the day pack to the loops on the shoulder straps of the travel pack. This product series will appeal to the user looking for a dynamic and flexible, town-to-trail travel pack solution for round-the-world trips or everyday use.   Technologies: Recycled A large number of our products are already made of sustainable materials from recycled resources, and we are continually working towards increasing the percentage. We use recycled PET bottles in many of our materials, such as fleece, synthetic fibre filling and the outer hardshell and softshell fabrics. The membrane used in our Texapore Ecosphere is made from production remnants, meaning there is no waste. PFCs (per- and poly-fluoride chemicals) are substances used on the surfaces of items to give them water-repellent or fat-repellent properties, which is the reason they are mainly used in waterproof trousers and jackets. As it is still not clear which PFCs are "good" (i.e. degradable) and which ones are not, we took the decision to eliminate them all from our entire collection. We are now very close to attaining our goal: all our clothing and equipment are now completely PFC-free.
