Archtop guitar with Grand Auditorium sized body and over-sized “F” holes from Roots Collection series that is based on a vintage model from Gretsch’s back catalogue and is a great sounding, handsome looking instrument. Its body features a solid arched spruce top with parallel bar bracing and laminate maple sides and arched back. It has great tone played either percussively or melodically and has decent presence and boom both acoustically and through the custom wound vintage-style single-coil pickup with rubberized magnet. The mahogany neck has a vintage-style “V”-shaped profile and is fitted with katalox fingerboard with 240mm radius, 19 vintage tall frets and pearloid dot inlays. Scale length is 635 mm, width of the synthetic bone nut is 44.45 mm. Other features include a compensated katalox bridge with trapeze tailpiece, nickel hardware and a stylish antique semi-gloss finish. Vintage Sunburst colour design.
