USB audio interface which allows you to record instruments or vocals with the help of the iPad and is compatible with all Lightning iPads (iPad Mini, iPad Mini w /Retina Display, iPad - 4th generation, iPad Air). It offers the possibility to extend the abilities of iPad recording while using Garageband or other musical applications. It features an USB audio interface (2 in/2 out), Focusrite mic preamp, recording quality 96kHz/24-bit, and an aluminum chassis with a silver "soft-touch" finish. Furthermore, it is equipped with XLR mic input, 6.3 mm unbalanced instrument input, 6.3 mm TRS jack output for headphones, two unbalanced RCA phono outputs for monitor, two Gain controls with indicators, direct switch for monitor and level control, LED indicator of USB connection, the possibility of phantom power, Device Link port, and Kensington Lock slot. Although the interface is fully certified for use with iPad, you can also use it with a PC or Mac. It´s delivered with the Ableton Live Lite software and Focusrite Scarlett Plug-in set up.
