Custom 6 string set for electric or acoustic guitar from Nickel Wound Electric Slinky series that contains strings that are reinforced versions of standard Slinky strings. Because the strings deliver more powerful tone, set is ideal for rock and roll and blues, as well as classic rock. Plain strings are made of specially tempered, tin-plated, high-carbon steel, producing a well-balanced tone, and have a patented winding of bronze wire, tightly wrapped around the lock twist of the ball end. Wound strings are made from nickel plated steel wire wrapped around a hex-shaped steel core wire. Strings are precisely manufactured to the highest standards and most exacting specifications to ensure consistency, long life and optimum performance. Gauges: .009, .011, .016, .026, .036, .046.
