Classic A-style mandolin that was a revolutionary instrument in its time with a radical new design that broke from traditional bowl-back instruments like Epi Stathopoulo’s father had made in Greece. Even in these days, this instrument is appreciated for its balanced tone and its ability to cut through as a rhythm or solo instrument. This deluxe style model is made with that same spirit, offering mandolinists a century of heritage with the added touch of gold hardware. The instrument features mahogany body and neck combined with a solid spruce top. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Scale length is 355.6 mm, nut width is 26.9 mm.
