Professional vocal microphone with electret condenser capsule with a 14mm gold vapor diaphragm that is designed for live, studio and broadcast applications. In addition to vocal applications, it can be used to capture instruments such as guitars, woodwinds, brasses, percussion toys, drum overheads, hi-hats and pianos. With an ability to duplicate studio quality sound on stage, it has a smooth and accurate frequency response of 40 Hz to 16.5 kHz. Designed with a tight and uniformly controlled supercardioid polar pattern, the microphone helps isolate vocals from the rest of the stage. It also handles SPLs in excess of 140 dB and will provide over 20 dB of ambient noise rejection on live stages. Other features include an acoustically ported steel mesh grill with a multi-stage pop filter, and a -10dB pad and bass roll-off filter. The microphone requires 18 - 52 V phantom power for operation.
